the end

She’s standing on the edge,
Holding her world in her hand.
So small, so sweet,
Its so perfect from where she stands.

She looks up to him,
Pleading with her eyes.. she demands,
“Why do you want to destroy it?”
He said…
“Because I can!”

Those three simple words were…
As true as her love.
For her love gives him the power,
To hurt her.

She tries to speak,
With tears down her cheek,
Her voice caught in her throat
And her legs weak.

He doesn’t feel her pain,
As her cries echo in vain…
He snatches her world from her hand,
And throws it as far as he can.

She watches it being shattered to pieces,
She drops to her knees,
As time ceases.

The boy smiles,
As she tries to find the broken parts.
“Its gone! Its gone!” she cries all the while…
and it begins to hurt.

She’s dying without his love,
And he couldn’t care less.
Its impossible for him to see,
That he’s her whole happiness.

As she takes her last breath,
And begs him to stay…
He bends down to whisper
“The End.”
And walks away.

drama queen

She was not what they had thought, the real her was hidden behind her many faces.
She knew she had what it would take, she wasn't going to give up her dream for fluffs and laces.

She wanted to take on the world, wanted to make her mark.
With nothing to hold her back, she decided to walk away from the dark.

Finally, now she was famous, she was the star.
For years she had slogged to be at the top of the tower.

She did hurt a few people, she did break some dreams.
But she had risen above them all, so far away that she couldn't hear their screams.

Now above all at the top, she was a bit lonely.
But she had earned this and it was hers and hers only.

She always loved the limelight with all its shine and sheen.
She had done everything to get where she was.
My beautiful, extravagant,
My love,
My drama queen.
